All through my late teen era until this very moment where I'm in my mid-twenties, people have been asking me one particular thing. 'How is university life here in UAE?' To answer that question, I kinda had to go through thinking about presenting them a PPT presentation with bullet points to make them understand. Well, if I can't do a seminar I'm all in for a deep dive about it on my own blog.  PS: whatever I mention here is in my own personal experience (facts though) and note that I did both my bachelors and masters at Amity University Dubai.  1. Learning at my university, I didn't just learn. Well let's admit, and we all know, that academic learning can be quite monotonous often. But at my university, I seldom felt so. The campus is way spacious and too far from monotonous. Guess what, it has a HUGE library, computer labs, study areas, SILENT study zones, canteen, cafe, and what not. ''Death in the Spotlight'' by Robin Stevens: Book Review


In search of a good murder mystery with thrills, chills and horror? You'll fall in love with 'Death in the Spotlight' by Robin Stevens. This is a book from the series 'Murder Most Unladylike'. No worries for people who aren't book readers; this book is very simple but beautiful to read. I became obsessed with it through the way it draws the picture of the setting. It clearly paints an image in our mind about the place of the happening. 


Coming to the plot, this mystery takes place in a theatre! The play is about to start with a lot of cheers, scorns, artistic beauty, preps etc. but......one of the members of the cast is found DEAD! There are our protagonists Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells who are members of The Detective Society at Deepdean School. They are enthusiastic and immersed in this case because;

1. Solving murder mystery is their passion.

2. THE KILLER MUST NOT STRIKE AGAIN!

Robin Stevens

The way Stevens presented this book is literally incredible. It takes us to another place, time and level. Readers will feel some mysterious smell, ghastly sensation and urge to turn the page!

'Death in the Spotlight' is a very good read. Do not worry if you are not much of a reader. The book is written in an easy-to-understand language. You'll absorb the words as your own situations.
